As many of you already know, the Sumner family lost their home in a fire on June 8th. Thankfully they were not injured and were able to get the family pets out of the home. They lost all of their possessions and were only able to retrieve a few sentimental items and left with only the clothes on their back. Unfortunately, they were just made aware that their renter's insurance policy is not covering the loss. We are looking for any help, whatsoever, to cover immediate necessities and also raise additional funds to help them rebuild their lives. We are also trying to support them during this stressful time by setting up a meal calendar and welcome any meals, restaurant or store gift cards. The Sumner family is active in the community and well loved. Please consider helping in any way you can as they would do the same for you. Rick, Tammy, Madison and Peyton are so grateful for everyone who has donated thus far. They are overwhelmed and thankful for everyone's generosity. They are currently staying at Tammy's brother's home in Maryland, a half hour drive from Middletown.
