Delivering for the Dasukis

Lincoln, IL

Story

Joshua will undergo surgery to remove a brain tumor. Meal deliveries while he is recovering from surgery would be a great help. Joshua has been diagnosed with Von Hippel Landau Syndrome (VHL), a genetic disorder causing the formation of many tumors and cysts throughout the body. Joshua and McKenzie were married in March and are expecting their first baby in April. In addition, they are working through the immigration process to secure U.S. Citizenship for Joshua, who is from Colombia. (Did you know the cost to attain citizenship runs upwards of $6,000? Yeah, we didn't either.) Joshua is unable to work until he obtains his work papers (and recovers) and Kenzie has been missing a lot of work due to medical appointments and morning sickness. Their medical copays, immigration costs, and household expenses are mounting, while their income is dwindling. While the family is doing all they can to help, your generous contribution of dinners (and your prayers!) are greatly appreciated. If you would rather donate money to help with food or bills, there are links below. Thank you so much! ❤️

Special Notes

A page organizer will text you the address for meal delivery if you sign-up for drop-off. Thank you for helping!
