Story
Josh was part of a concussion research study since Bloomsburg University football days. This year he decided to participate again, and flew to Indiana to have an MRI at IU. On Saturday 1/18 he received a call from the head of Neurology at IU who stated that the radiologist found something concerning on his scans and encouraged us to go to the ER. We did, and long story cut short, they found a brain tumor. 2/13/25: Josh had an 8.5 hour surgery. The doctor is pleased with how it went. Josh was talking after and is doing well. We are THANKFUL that God paved a way to have this tumor be found early. Josh is in good health, young, and it has been found early. We are also so thankful to be in a community that has helped us move mountains to see medical professionals quickly, provide advice on what to ask, and to get the ball moving. 3/13/25: We were given the news that pathology is showing Grade IV Astrocytoma (Glioblastoma). Josh starts Radiation and Chemo for 6 weeks.
