October 27, 2024 Angie Taylor - Art, Music, and Theatre teacher at Boyd Elementary School fell off a latter cleaning ceiling fan at her home. She broke both knees, broken left leg in 2 places, fractured left ankle and bruised ribs. Needless to say, she will be "out of commission" for a while and won't even be able to put weight on her left leg for 12 weeks. She is out of the hospital for now after reconstructive surgery on her knees, the doctors will elevate to see if she will need additional surgery. She is currently in the Decatur inpatient Rehab Hospital for a few weeks. Many people have asked what they can do to help so I put a Meal Train calendar together.
