Supporting Ken

Baltimore, MD

Story

As many of you know, our dear family/friend Ken was diagnosed with multiple myeloma last fall. He just completed his last round of infusions and will undergo a bone marrow transplant at the beginning of May. He and Maricel will be spending a month (April 27-May 19) at John Hopkins recovering from his procedure. To make it easier for them, I’d love to provide them with gift cards to help out with meals. Here are a few suggestions: Hello Fresh www.hellofresh.com/gift Whole Foods www.wholefoodsmarket.com/giftcards Harris Teeter https://giftcards.harristeeter.com/ Aldi www.aldi.us/gift-cards/ Grubhub https://www.grubhub.com/giftcards Instacart https://www.instacart.com/p/gift-cards Amazon www.amazon.com/gift-cards Panera Bread www.panerabread.com/en-us/app/egift.html Chick-Fil-A www.chick-fil-a.com/gift-cards Shake Shack https://shakeshack.com/gift-card#/ Sweetgreen https://order.sweetgreen.com/gift From Ken: Thank you, family and friends, for your thoughts and prayers. They have sustained me through this difficult period. The meals provided will allow Maricel and I to focus on my recovery. I hope you are all doing well and look forward to seeing you soon.

MESSAGES

-
Heavenly Father we lift our brother in Christ Ken to You. May he have peace within him knowing You are in control. We pray that You go before him and with the Holy Spirit fill all of John Hopkins hospital, providing wisdom, discernment, and compassion to all those that Ken comes in contact with. Guide the hands of his surgeon and the medical staff as they perform the transplant. We pray Ken’s surgery will be successful along with his path toward full recovery and to beat multiple myeloma cancer once and for all. Please bring strength, comfort, and peace to him and Maricel knowing that You are sovereign and faithful, and any anxieties they may have to cast them to You Lord. We continue to praise You and thank You for Your Grace and Mercy. We lift You to the Most High and celebrate Your son’s Jesus upcoming resurrection. In Your Precious and Holy Name. AMEN Sending our love to you both and to the family! Marivic & Toru
