Story
Dear friends and family, These past few weeks have been intensely difficult as our beloved Dad, (Cliff), fights for his life. On December 28th, he was admitted to the NeuroICU at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale having suffered a bleed in his mid-brain. While he initially showed signs of improvement after emergency intervention, he experienced a critical setback on January 10th that required further brain surgery to save his life. Currently, he remains in the ICU in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, and while the path ahead is uncertain, we're holding onto hope and staying by his side. Although he is currently in a coma, his medical team has assured us that he can still hear, and I can attest to this having spent many hours at his side speaking with him, listening to music together, and recounting all the wonderful experiences I was lucky enough to share with him. We are writing to ask for your immediate support - it's crucial that if you'd like to share a message with him, you do so within the next few days, as we don't have clarity about his condition beyond that timeframe. Though time and distance may have created space between some of you, the connections you've shared with him remain precious to him. He has often spoken warmly of the moments and memories he's shared with each of you over the years. We would be touched if you could take a moment to record a voice message or leave him a voicemail. Whether it's sharing a cherished memory, a story that makes you smile, or simply letting him know you're thinking of him – your voice could bring him comfort during this incredibly challenging time. These messages mean everything to both he and our family. You can leave a voicemail at 561-808-6855 or send audio messages to Brittany at 650-346-0045. We will make sure to play them for him during our visits. Thank you for your support, prayers, and caring thoughts. It has served a source of strength for our entire family during this difficult time. With deep gratitude, Josh & Brittany
