This meal train is being organized to support Shelby Fullen, who underwent a double bypass (open heart) surgery this past Tuesday. She has been recovering well in the hospital up to this point, but her real journey to healing will begin when she returns home. The next couple of weeks are sure to be challenging, as Shelby adjusts to an entirely new routine with around the clock help from family and home health aides. This meal train will not only help Shelby, but also her family as they work to make sure all of her other needs are being met. The calendar is set up for two meals per day, lunch and dinner, for one week. You can click on the day and meal (lunch or dinner) that you wish to provide, and fill in the requested details from there. If you are unable to provide a meal, but still wish to help in some way, you can send Shelby a "Care Card", which will allow her to select a store or restaurant gift card of her choice.
