Life has taken an unexpected turn for our dear Heather but for those of us who know and love her, we know she is prepared and determined to tackle cancer with strength and courage. Heather's medical team is moving swiftly to begin treatment and though her journey ahead will be long, we want Heather to focus on her healing and her family while we offer them the love and support they will need. As part of The Lawder's Community of Family and Friends, here are some ways you can help: PRAYER: This is Heather's biggest request right now. She finds strength and comfort in knowing she and her family are being lifted in this way. As she provides any specific prayers, she will share those with us. SUPPORT HER KIDS: As you can imagine this is a scary time for the kids who are processing everything in their own way. If you know them, please be a kind and steady presence for them; they need extra love and support now too. And let's not forget Billy. HELP WITH TANGIBLE NEEDS: This site will be updated frequently as The Lawder's needs will likely change from week to week depending on what they have going on and what they may need at any given time. Whether it's meals, ingredients for them to prepare their own meals (something the girls love to do for their mom), items for comfort during treatment etc... This site will allow The Lawders to communicate any specific needs as they arise. Heather is so appreciative of your kindness and eagerness to help. She is grateful for every prayer, kind word and act of support. She has a great army of prayer warriors and supporters ready to help her battle, AND WIN, the fight ahead.
