Stanco Family

Hollywood, FL

Story

Dear Friends, Family and Kind Hearts, As part of the extensive youth baseball family and incredible community here in West Pines / Weston and beyond, we come to you with hopeful spirits as we share the story of the Stanco Family. The road ahead is long and challenging - any help or support is greatly appreciated. Jessica and Mark along with their family of 4 have experienced some severe setbacks over the month of May 2024. Towards the end of April, Jessica developed an extensive hemorrhaging issue that led to a full hysterectomy on May 16th. From May 18-22, Jess underwent blood transfusions and was readmitted to Memorial Regional on May 30th for a 2nd emergency repair hysterectomy surgery. Mark has been taking care of the family - and Jess - while going through her medical challenges. On May 26th, Mark blew his calf out and was admitted to Memorial Regional with compartment syndrome. Between May 27th and today, June 2nd, Mark has been through 4 surgeries in an effort to try and save Mark's leg (2 fasciotomies, clean out / muscle repair, clean out / close up). He goes back for a 5th surgery on June 5th in an effort to try and continue the healing process. Between them both, they've been through 6 surgeries in less than a month with more to come. Aside from health challenges, with Mark starting his own business earlier this year, they are tremendously concerned with financial burdens including lack of insurance coverage, major vehicle challenges and a lack of ability to work (Jess for minimum of 4 weeks, Mark for minimum of 3 months) as they both try to physically heal. Together as a community of friends and family, we can make a difference in their lives by offering our love, support, prayers and financial assistance. How can you help? Your generous donations will go directly towards alleviating the financial burden that the Stanco family is facing. From medical expenses to everyday necessities, every contribution will make a meaningful impact on their family. Every dollar, every prayer and every act of kindness brings us one step closer to easing the burden on this family. We ask that you keep the Stanco family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this difficult journey. Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and support. Let's show the Stanco family that they are not alone!
