Story
I’ve started a meal train for my beautiful sister who’s now an amazing mother to baby boy Raphael 💙 He was born on 1/20/2025. He was delivered via c-section and at 24 hours old, needed to be transferred into the nursery for low oxygen saturation below 90%. When he was delivered he swallowed his meconium in which affected the surfactant in his lungs for him to be able to maintain high oxygen levels. Meconium aspiration is the definition. He’s currently on high flow oxygen and being weined off slowly but slow and steady wins the race and he’s such a strong and happy boy with such amazing nurses caring for him. This has been truly a hard transition for Rey & leaving him has been an emotional roller coaster for her. She can use all the support at this time while she is still recovering from her c section and being away from Raphael. She is working really hard breast pumping but has been difficult without Raphael. Anything to support her supply and prayers and items to welcome Raphael home hopefully soon would be more than a blessing to Rey & the family 💙 We thank you all so much for your support!
