Zack and Joy Skarka along with their two small children, Trinity (about to be 3) and Luke (about to be 2) have been in an intense season of suffering. In August, Zack was diagnosed with brain cancer for the third time which was followed by complications from the radiation. After a month in hospitals, when they should have been celebrating his discharge from rehab- Joy was diagnosed with HER2 positive invasive ductal breast cancer. Zack will start chemo soon and Joy is waiting to find out what her treatment plan will look like. We are doing everything we can to take any and all burdens from this family so that they can take care of themselves and focus on healing.
