Story
Hi everyone, and thank you for visiting this page. I created this space to support my brother, Jason Gentry, and his family as they navigate an incredibly difficult chapter. Jason was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. He’s currently recovering from surgery and preparing for chemotherapy in the coming weeks. As you can imagine, this has turned life upside down for Jason and his loved ones. He’s facing an intense treatment journey ahead, and while he’s focused on fighting hard and staying hopeful, he’ll be out of work for the foreseeable future. Jason is the owner of a one-man business, so when he’s not working, there’s no safety net — no backup income or benefits to fall back on. As the sole provider for his household, this has created a heavy financial strain on top of everything else they’re carrying. This page was created to rally support for Jason, his wife Cyndi, and Bella, Bryson & Brayden. Contributions will go toward easing the financial burden on the family — helping cover everyday needs like groceries, meals, household expenses, and medical costs while Jason focuses on healing. Whether it’s: *Meal delivery (please see Special Notes for dietary restrictions), *Gift cards, *Financial contributions of any kind, Every bit of support makes a meaningful difference. Jason has always been someone who shows up, stays strong, and keeps pushing forward — now it’s our turn to show up for him. Thank you for being part of Team Jason and standing with the Gentry family during this fight. With gratitude, Bianca Gentry & the Gentry Family ps. A quick note on sharing this page -- We kindly ask that you please do not share this page on social media at this time. Jason hasn’t yet publicly announced his diagnosis beyond close friends and family, and we want to respect his privacy as he navigates these early steps. We’ll be sure to update everyone once the family is ready to share more broadly. Thank you so much for understanding. 💛
Special Notes
Jason cannot have raw fruits or vegetables. He can have some cooked vegetables in moderation if finely chopped. Foods he should avoid: celery, mushrooms, corn, rice, seeds, nuts, grapes, raisins. He also has to limit sugar.
