In October, Chantell received a life-changing diagnosis when an incidental, non-related imaging study revealed a thymoma—a rare tumor that develops in the thymus gland, located in the upper chest. Thymomas are exceptionally uncommon, accounting for only 0.2% to 1.5% of all cancers, and their rarity often makes early detection challenging. These tumors can affect the immune system and frequently require prompt surgical intervention. Chantell is scheduled for surgery on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 7:00 AM. We are standing in faith, trusting God for a smooth and successful procedure, and believing in His promise of a full recovery and a benign outcome. We also thank Him for His provision in this time—for the skilled medical team, the love and prayers of family and friends, and the strength Chantell will need during her healing journey.
