For Shawn and Amanda

Lebanon, IN

Story

Shawn Pettit recently underwent surgery and is currently recovering after a partial foot amputation. This is a challenging time for Shawn as he navigates the physical and emotional aspects of his recovery, which will include adapting to new routines and mobility adjustments. Throughout this journey, his wife, Amanda, has been by his side, providing her love, encouragement, and support. However, Amanda is also facing her own unique challenges, as she is visually impaired, which makes caring for Shawn and managing daily tasks all the more complex. Amanda and Shawn’s deep faith and resilience shine through even in these difficult times, but they would be incredibly grateful for some extra support from their community. One of the most practical and impactful ways to help right now is through meal assistance. With Shawn’s ongoing recovery needs and Amanda’s visual impairment, having meals prepared by others would ease their daily burdens and allow them to focus on healing together. If you feel moved to help, providing a meal or contributing to a meal fund would be a tremendous gift to them. This small gesture would not only support them physically but also remind them of the community that cares for them.
