Covering Tabitha with Food, Love and Prayers

Elizabeth City, NC

Story

Wednesday, Nov. 13th, my sister Tabitha, underwent surgery to remove her left kidney, a large mass (8x5inches) attached to it, and some lymph nodes. The surgery went well and she spent the next few days in Greenville recovering at the hospital there in the Cancer Center. She was able to go home today, but has a LONG road of recovery ahead. Her doctor estimated 6-8 weeks before her surgery. They still are waiting on pathology to release more information, which she should hopefully get at her follow up appointment Thursday. Then she will know what next step lie ahead for her and her family. If you would like to help in her recovery by taking making dinner off of Derek’s plate for her and the kids, I have set up this meal train. Some have asked about doing gift cards and they would be greatly appreciated. She does have Walmart Delivery and DoorDash or any local restaurant as she has lots of loved ones and friends who can pick up food if needed. Thank you to those who have continuously prayed and sent their love. Please don’t stop. They are still needed and we know we serve a God who will never fail us.
