Here is a post from Facebook that Travis shared on 1/25/25: I wanted to get a message out to all yesterday, but quite honestly I wasn't ready to, and also didn't know how to accept that this is really happening. She did have a stroke sometime early yesterday. I came home to check on her because she had been struggling with bad migraines and was home from school. I found her in not too good of condition and rushed her to the ER. Everyone here rushed to save her immediately. Family rushed here immediately to save her. She is tough and is battling with all she has. If anyone can do this, SHE can do this,! WE can do this! Kate has shown some good signs here and there, but to be honest, we have a battle ahead. Doctors have been trying to come up with a plan of how we do this. We have heard from so many good people, family, friends, coaches, co-workers, everybody here at the hospital, etc. You are all amazing and we need to keep battling together. Please feel free to pass this on to anyone who may know Kate. She needs us all. I spent the night by her side in the ICU, where she will be the next 2-3 days minimum.
