The week before Christmas Darren had surgery to repair an umbilical hernia. His recovery was going well. The Friday after his surgery he became suddenly very sick and Erica took him to the ER. This was the beginning of a horrific nightmare. A surgery complication caused damage to his liver leaving him unconscious for days. We are praising God that he is now awake and talking and in the process of being evaluated for a liver transplant. This is going to be a very long road with a lot of days spent at the hospital. We are so thankful for all of our family and friends that are supporting us on this journey. We could not do it without you!
