Thank you for taking the time to come to this page and considering support. On Tuesday the Dec. 31st, Emily was hospitalized at Georgetown University Hospital Center. She was unable to use her legs and was experiencing weakness in her arms. Over the next week, she was treated there, numerous tests were run to attempt to diagnose the reasoning for her hospitalization. Ultimately, the Dreibelbis family has been left with with no answers. While Emily has regained some function, and is now medically stable, she has gone home with a wheelchair and a walker. Modifications to their house and their life are numerous. We do not know if/when things will improve. While Em is on a modified diet due to inability to swallow normal foods we are asking for help with meals for the family and giftcards for the special food items for her.
