Dear friends and family, We are reaching out to share that our beloved Amanda Tami is facing breast cancer for the second time. As many of you know, Amanda is an extraordinary person who has touched countless lives through her work as a therapist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Her dedication to helping children and adults with autism, anxiety, and related disorders has made a profound difference in our community. Amanda will soon undergo a double mastectomy, followed by chemotherapy. After chemotherapy completion, she faces another significant surgical procedure as well. While she faces this challenge with characteristic grace and determination, she needs our support now more than ever. She has always put others first, caring for her her son, Will, and her family, all while helping her clients navigate their own challenges. During this time of treatment and recovery, Amanda could use our help in several areas: - Meal preparation and delivery during her surgical recovery and chemotherapy - Transportation assistance for Will to attend his coding classes - Housekeeping support - Caregiving help during her recovery - Assistance with an important family project that needs attention Amanda has always been there for others, providing guidance, support, and compassion to those in need. Now it's our turn to surround her with the same level of care and support she has so generously given to others. We will be organizing specific ways to help in the coming days.
