This is not the news we want to share, but we learned about a week after my Dad’s funeral that my Mom has rectal cancer. This diagnosis was shocking, but we have shaken off the shock, worked through various tests and doctors’ appointments and now have a plan of attack. Beginning on November 8th she starts chemo. Luckily we know the drill from battle many years ago. What we are asking is for your prayers. This cancer is curable and my Mom is ready to fight this battle and move on to living a “new” normal life after my Dad’s passing. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers.
