Story
Hi everyone, Grandma is having surgery on Monday, and as she recovers, we want to make sure she feels surrounded by love and care. To help with meals, rides, and anything else she might need, we’ve set up a way for family to sign up and lend a hand. Let’s rally around her and show just how loved she is! Thank you all! ❤️
Special Notes
If anyone is planning a trip to the thrift store, I’d really appreciate a couple of sweatshirts for Martin—just basic pullovers, any logo is fine. He wears a size Large. I’m happy to reimburse the cost. Thanks so much! - Alicia
MESSAGES
Hello All,
I plan on this as my final message. I am happy to tell you I feel as though I have recovered completely from the surgery. A couple of minor restrictions (mostly heavy lifting) but I am pain free and pretty close to where I was before the surgeries.
This post was created as an act of love and it certainly has been. I have appreciated all the love, caring, and willingness to give me support. My recovery would not have been nearly so smooth without your love. I don't know what to expect for the future (neither does anyone else)but I am optimistic. I will never be able to express my gratitude for how much you given to me and been the mainstay of my life.
Good news-I looked at the biopsy report, no malignancy detected. I am optimistic, but I think I have one more biopsy to go and have not heard from the doctor. Nonetheless I consider this good news.
I’m feeling much better, bought the paint I needed at Maine Hardware, they’ll deliver it tomorrow.
I’m feeling pretty good, mostly I sleep, very little pain (yay). Scott brought me several sweatshirts so I think we have enough.
This weekend I would appreciate a ride to Home Depot (assuming I feel ok). I need to get paint. It will probably take about 2 hours.
