Story
Hey friends, I’ve always been blessed to be healthy and big into fitness and around Christmas, 4 months ago I started to have some lower back pain. I have had thrown out my back before like most of us but always made a quick and complete recovery, but something was different this time. I started to have trouble walking. At times my legs after walking a street or two finding it difficult to walk. I had numbness and pins and needles and at times pain. After some Dr. visits and an MRI and Xrays I found out 3 discs in my back were deteriorating and putting pressure on the nerves in my legs. The prognosis was definitive that I needed to have surgery to take the pressure off the nerves before the damage became permanent. I was not going to give up my active and athletic lifestyle so I took the Dr.s advice and I’m having Lumbar Reconstruction done today. The removal of 3 discs of my spine and replaced with titanium. I was told that I will be limited to lifting anything over 10 pounds for several months and no bending or twisting. My biggest concern it’s my beautiful and loving Labrador, Salem. It will be difficult for me to walk her. I would definitely need some helping hands with this big baby. So I’m reaching out. Of course I wouldn’t mind some visitors to come and see me. Maybe help me take a walk as my Dr said walks are really helpful for healing. I know that when you need help you can’t get it if you don’t ask. So here I am saying HELP 🥰😷🙏☺️❤️
