On Saturday, April 12th, 2025 our brave wife, daughter, sister, friend, aunt, cousin, and dog mom received the most precious gift of all, a successful Kidney Transplant surgery at Mayo Clinic. This was long awaited as Kari has struggled with a rare blood disease (AHUS) and kidney failure for many years. We send prayers and thanks to the generous family for the loss of their loved one that made this transplant possible. As Kari recovers, she will be staying in a hotel near the Mayo Clinic for the next 3-4 weeks. Kari’s husband, Jud, and her mom will be driving back and forth to Rochester as they take turns serving as her caregiver. Unfortunately, these accommodations and living expenses are uncovered by insurance. If you are able to and would like to contribute gift cards, nearby locations such as Victorias, Chester’s, Jimmy John’s, and Caribou coffee would be convenient and much appreciated.
