Since Matt was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called a Sinonasal Undifferentiated Carcinoma (SNUC) in August, our life has been turned upside down. Beginning in December all the way to the end of January Matt will have to be in Houston, TX fulltime for proton radiation treatment. This journey will be intense for us, and with everything involved, I am reaching out to ask for some support. One of our good friends, a Social Worker angel, recommended setting up this site to help coordinate some non-monetary ways people can help out. If you’re able to help, we would be so grateful. Here are some ways we could use assistance: 1. Dinners: Preparing meals is one of the biggest challenges, especially on busy treatment days. If anyone could help with a meal a few nights a week, it would be such a relief. 2. Babysitting: We’ll need help with Truett and Jack while I am handling appointments or traveling. Any time with a friendly face would make such a difference. 3. House Cleaning: Keeping up with the house has become difficult. If anyone is able to help out or knows of a cleaning service, it would really help lighten the load. 4. Errands and Transportation: Running errands, picking up groceries, or providing transport when needed would be invaluable.
