I wanted to thank anyone for your support for my dear friends as they manage their way through this time. My neighbor works for Kaiser in surgery, she had scraped her dominant hand during work and that has led to a serious and aggressive infection that is now to her elbow. She has had two surgeries in the last 24 hours and is due for another tomorrow. We are unsure at this time if she will keep her fingers or have movement or feeling in her hand after all the surgeries but we are and will stay positive. She has an amazing family and as everyone knows, life goes on no matter what happens. She’s in the hospital and we will not now how much longer she will stay there with the continued surgeries. Her husband is going between home, work and school/kids during this time as well as trying his best to keep his bearings with the load of worry that comes with these sort of things. I am setting up a meal calendar to help ease the stress and physical responsibilities while they do their best to manage updates from the hospital for Pam.
