Ready or not, Here she comes! Takiah went into labor at 24 weeks, 2 days along and despite all efforts to stop it, this lil lady was ready to meet her mama! She was born in route to Riverside in the helicopter! Although, she is tiny (1lb. 7oz.) she is mighty! She is intubated but her and mommy are both doing well! While Kiah will be discharged tomorrow, Zaniah will be in the NICU for a while. Being so far from home is a struggle, especially with a 9 month old baby. Kiah and Shawn will get to stay at the Ronald McDonald house but food and gas are always needed! If you'd like to donate a gift card or money, it would be very appreciated.
