Jessie & Family - Updates

Happy valley, OR

Story

End of January, Jessie was unexpectedly hospitalized for a heart condition. This was incredibly shocking for her and her family as she was told she’s likely had this since birth. Since then, she’s been on medical leave, working with her care team to manage her symptoms with medication after surgery was ruled out due to high risks. This page will share updates on her health journey. Thank you for your love and support—it means the world to Jessie and her family.

Special Notes

During Jessie’s medical leave, a meal train was set up to support her and her family- they are beyond grateful for everyone who carried them through such a difficult season. The road ahead is still long, but they are trusting God and His perfect timing for whatever the future may hold. As Jessie prepares to return to work in April, some have asked how they can continue to help. The best ways to bless their family are through prayer and intercession, words of encouragement (or laughter—Jessie’s favorite medicine!), or practical support. Contributions toward Jessie’s medications via Venmo, providing a meal, or donating in ways that bring joy—gift cards, family outings, date nights, flowers, or treats—are all deeply appreciated.
