I thought the best way to share would be to share Kiona's own words! My name is Kiona and I have a younger sister named Annese. This fundraiser is made for our mother’s funeral costs. This is an extremely hard time for our family right now, but we will be there for her just as she has always been there for us. She was hit by a vehicle while walking in a crosswalk. Her injuries were life- threatening, but she wanted to continue to fight. Due to the severity of her trauma, no matter how hard she fought her body was not physically able to recover and her heart gave out. She was surrounded by love the entire time in the hospital and we know she is now at peace, and gets to be with her baby boy and mother. During this difficult time we ask for all the love and prayers that we can muster. Let’s celebrate Jennifer, a grandma, a mother, daughter, sister and friend to many, she may be gone but never forgotten. Donate Share I have started this meal train for Kiona.
