Kyndra works remotely for OHSU, and lives with her husband Johnathan in Virginia. Both Kyndra and Johnathan have recently had some health issues, and Johnathan is currently in the hospital with severe hip pain, sepsis, and a blood clot in his lung. Jonathan is in a skilled nursing facility getting rehabilitation. However, he had a fall and was rehospitalized bc of 2 brain bleeds. They have stopped but he is being observed as the keep him there for a few days. After he is released he will go back to rehabilitation. In addition to her remote job at OHSU, Kyndra works part time on Saturdays to help make ends meet. As a result, she cannot visit or advocate for her husband as often as he needs right now.
