Story
I will need meal support and possibly transportation assistance for my recovery journey after my shoulder surgery. People have asked if they can help, so this is what I figured I can do. VERY IMPORTANTLY, I have a deadly nightshade pepper allergy. Cross-contamination and shared tools or gloves or surfaces can trigger an anaphylactic response, so PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY if you would truly like to help. I LOVE all kinds of mushrooms, tofu, smoked foods, and all kinds of food from anywhere in the world. I use sumac often to replace paprika or cayenne in recipes. We will have a microwave, a stove, and airfryer. I can not digest beef, and eat a predominantly plant-based diet. I can digest fish or seafood, and eggs, dairy, etc included in recipes are also well-tolerated. Beans and my gut are not great friends, so if you bring beans, please bring Beano as well! My biggest triggers are ingredients IN ingredients, so scratch-made is best for me. Most condiments are not safe for me, including worchestershire sauce, seasoning salt, mustard, mayo, ketchup, BBQ, and salad dressings. I am not picky, just reactive to my allergy triggers.
Special Notes
SEVERE NIGHTSHADE PEPPER ALLERGY! This includes "spices", paprika, bell peppers, all chiles, cayenne, etc. It does NOT include black or white peppercorns. If you don't know what to use or not use, feel free to utilize a nightshade-free recipe from the web, such as https://kamsokhi.com/food-allergy-blog/a-guide-to-a-nightshade-free-diet?fbclid=IwY2xjawHMgINleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHeHlEZd7nQxYFmIw3fdkfxzfmjLdurYsGRxkUdO6voG0hT8GTz-gPj4c-g_aem_cQgIIveUWspcnY6NDbgq3Q or https://www.nonightshadekitchen.com/2020/11/17/my-essential-no-nightshade-kitchen/?fbclid=IwY2xjawHNd1NleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHUJmfBWa_2jtFs8CyD465X2eHWYZFfEWR-BzdDfBx8ondE2apszgrBrfHQ_aem_3Ry2UxoWiRVdtF2lHo5YgQ.
