Snow Support

Story

I am setting up this Food Train to help with Cassidy’s recovery when she is able to return home as I’m sure she will not be able to do daily things like shop or cook right away. Here is a little of her story: As some of you may know, Cassidy Snow underwent a C-section on December 31st to welcome her beautiful baby girl, Vera. Unfortunately, complications arose, leading to severe damage to her ureter and requiring a drainage tube in her kidney for two months. During this time, Cassidy developed a kidney infection due to the tube. On March 18th, she underwent surgery to finally repair her ureter. While the procedure was a success, complications quickly followed. Bacteria entered her bloodstream, causing sepsis. Doctors immediately began treatment, and we hoped things were finally turning around. But on March 19th, Cassidy went into cardiac arrest. Thanks to the incredible work of the medical team, she was revived quickly, but she had to be intubated for three days. By Saturday March 22nd, she was awake, talking, and even getting up, showing her incredible strength. The goal was to move her out of the ICU today March 24th, but unfortunately, she is still there, continuing to fight. For the past 3 months, Cassidy has endured immense pain, multiple hospital stays, infections, procedures, and time away from home and her children. Through it all, she has remained incredibly strong. Right now, Cassidy and JaTonne need support more than ever. With both of them unable to work, five children being cared for by other family members, and mounting daily living expenses, we are asking for help to ease the burden. Anything helps and is truly appreciated!
