Eye Care For Detroit, Inc. is actively seeking in-kind donations of ophthalmology and optometry equipment, devices, supplies, and new eyeglass frames to support our vital mission of bringing comprehensive eye care services to Detroit's 40,000 homebound seniors and at-risk residents. Our Impact We are expanding our reach through two transformative initiatives: Deploying fully-equipped mobile eye care units to serve homebound seniors Opening a new permanent eye care clinic location in 2025 Equipment and Supply Needs We welcome donations of: Diagnostic equipment (visual field analyzers, tonometers, slit lamps) Examination tools and devices New eyeglass frames Ophthalmic supplies Optometry testing equipment Mobile-compatible eye care devices Eye care facility furnishings and equipment Tax Benefits As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all in-kind donations to Eye Care For Detroit are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
