Story
Saturday night into Sunday early morning hours, my brother got a phone call that no one ever wants to get. His oldest and first son, who just turned 18 a few months ago, was involved in a tragic accident in Texas. Christopher is in critical condition in ICU. He came in with multiple brain bleeds and collapsed lungs, had to have emergency surgery, and is currently in a medically induced coma. They are still working to see what all the doctors and tests have completed. Christopher’s dad, Nestor, had to fly in from Florida and is with him, and his mom Jessica has been there with him also. If you know his parents, they would give the shirt off their back to help others. We don’t know what any possibilities are right now, and Christopher didn’t have medical insurance. The parents are losing working hours so they can be at their son’s bedside while he is fighting for his life. He is currently in critical condition, with severe injuries including multiple facial fractures and part of his skull removed. This incredible young man is so talented, has a bright spirit, and a love for life. He just graduated this summer from high school and enjoys working on vehicles, hanging out with his friends and family, and having time to do his different hobbies. He is truly a warrior, and we believe in his strength to pull through. During this extremely challenging time, we are reaching out for help to cover transporting expenses, meals, to help cover his medical bills along with anything extra to help pay their home bills while not working and getting a full paycheck, and any other unforeseen expenses that may arise. They also are speaking about a lot of different therapy and care he may need once he is awake and they and see what he needs. Please consider donating and sharing as this family needs us more than ever to step up for them! Any contribution, no matter the size, will go a long way to support him and his family as they focus on his healing journey. Thank you for your prayers, thoughts, and support. Together, we can help him through this battle. God is good
