Story
As many of you know, Leah had to be treated with steroids for an extended period of time which caused a complication where both of her hip sockets basically crumbled in on themselves. She needed two complete hip replacements and she needed them to be back to back to have any chance to have them both be successful. She had a lot of work to do with her mom and dad being ill and then the settling of their estates. She received her first hip replacement in September and now IT"S TIME FOR THE OTHER HIP! She will not be able to leave the house for a minimum of 3 weeks, and while her first surgery was successful, that hip is not at 100% yet. She will have to be extremely careful and has a lot of physical therapy in the future. But it will all be worth it :) Many of you were so generous on the first go around, and the Davis family appreciated it so much. With Christmas and winter weather, the family could use some additional help with meals. If you could prepare and drop off a meal, or simply purchase a gift card which will appear in Leah's email, it would be a tremendous blessing! Her surgery is Thursday the 12th so if we could start with the meal help on Monday the 16th of December, that would be great. Feel free to reach out to Leah via text, calls or email.
Special Notes
Leah is allergic to spinach :) Also it is best if Leah doesn't receive a lot of visitors in the first month as the surgeon is worried about infections and viruses. If you'd like to send a card her address is 229 Orinoco St. Riverside OH 45431
