Story
Hey, everyone, As most of you know, my brother in law, James Worden, is still in the hospital recovering from a liver transplant. He had a few set backs post op, however, he's now recovering really well but still has a long road ahead of him. Lolly is staying with him. In a small effort to help alleviate the load I'm organizing this meal train calendar to begin once James is discharged from the hospital. A liver transplant is a major surgery. Its a life saving procedure that removed his sick, cancerous liver and replaced it with a healthy liver from a donor. This procedure requires lifelong changes to keep his new liver healthy and eating a healthy diet is crucial to his recovery. As most of you also know, James and Lolly are thousands miles away from their family, who are all mostly in Oklahoma! Stopping by, just to check in, or to take them a meal, is nearly impossible due to the miles between us. I'm hoping this page will provide love and support and DINNER for the Wordens, no matter the distance between us! If unable to jump on the meal train, gift cards are always appreciated! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my brother in law and sister while they maneuver through life post liver transplant. Respectfully, ~Joanie Franks-Swanson
