Hi everyone!! Looks like I’m up for another surgery next week! The surgery is for another revision to my ileostomy, primarily moving it..and fixing a prolapse of the stomach. This go around I’m really really stressing about maintaining my home and taking care of my family while I heal. I’m a stay at home mom on disability with a beautiful four year old daughter, while my boyfriend works full time. I’m not asking for gifts or anything crazy, but having some help with meals for us would amazing! I’m not usually one that ask for help when surgery times come, but this is the first surgery I’ve had where I’m full time mom with a rambunctious 4 year old and a 1 yr old puppy. And as for family/close friends even coming over for a little bit just to entertain her for a bit would be so helpful! I’m hoping that this reaches the right friends and loving humans who can help a mom and dad stay afloat during surgery recovery! I think the recovery is about 6 weeks, with a few days in the hospital for pain management etc. but I usually bounce back pretty fast so I’m hoping that is the case with this!
