We are starting this "Team Randa" page to support Randa Urness as she begins her battle to fight non-small cell lung cancer discovered on November 5th. She recently learned that the cancer has metastasized to some lymph nodes as well as her brain, deeming it Stage IV. Randa will begin radiation therapy beginning November 11th and she will have this daily for 10 days. Congruently, she will also begin a chemotherapy regiment in the near future. These treatments will entail many trips to Abbott Northwestern hospital, at least initially. Please keep the Urness family in your thoughts as they navigate this challenging time. They are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support they've received. Please check back for updates and other ways you can support them. This site includes a meal train sign up, a sign up for drivers (to be added later), a link to her Venmo account and an option to purchase e-gift cards. Venmo contributions will be used for ongoing medical expenses. (Her pharmacy is at Walmart.) We will keep this page updated regularly as we get more information.
