On January 19th, 2025 the unthinkable happened to our friends... Jeremy had a heart attack at 47 yrs young. Father of 3 beautiful and amazing kids and grandpa to two grandchildren, 1 just born the week of his medical emergency. Jeremy and his family are also life long members of the Deer creek- Lamont volunteer Fire Department. Here's Jennifer Bellin's story. So yesterday morning Jeremy asked me to take him to the ER in Enid to get checked out cause his heartburn was bothering him so bad he couldn't stand it any longer. So we get there and come to find out it wasn't just heartburn he had elevated cardiac enzymes and so they send him to cath lab. The girls at Bass Enid ICU where fantastic! Once we got a bed we went by ambulance with a fantastic MIller EMS crew to an ICU room at Bass Heart in OKC. We found out today that he had a ST heart attack and he will have bypass surgery on Thursday at 1130am. He will stay here at the hospital till then so they can monitor for any changes and he is also on iv medication. A huge thank you to everyone who had reached out to help with Gunnar to make sure he is taken care of while we are away. Love all my tribe.
