She had the gastric sleeve because she was having health issues with her BP and heart. I’m not sure how many months had passed but she started having other problems with her health from the sleeve. The surgeon put her on several different meds but nothing helped. She stayed sick and in pain and it got to the point that she couldn’t hardly eat or drink anything. The surgeon told her that the only thing that would help now was to convert to complete gastric bypass. Her insurance wouldn’t cover it even after appealing it so she was going to have to come up with $16k out of pocket. Because of missing so much work the company that she was with let her go. We set up a go fund me and raised under $1000 and she had raised some on some raffles. I ended up borrowing $14k for her because I couldn’t stand to see her suffering. At the time that I borrowed it she was still working so she was going to be making payments on the loan but she lost her job and is still out of work. After having the bypass she started having problems . She was in and out of the Er several times and they found out that her bowels were asleep and she had an obstruction. She was in the hospital for a week before they started waking back up. After being home a few days she started having problems again. She was put back in the hospital Sunday night. We are waiting on some test to be done today. Her surgeon thinks that it is her colon this time
