Hello! My name is Emily. I currently reside in the Triad area with my two babies. We are currently in a tough position. My apartment complex has threatened to immediately evict me if I do not pay my rent by 11/05/24 in retaliation to me calling the city for assistance with getting repairs done that they refused to make, even though they were making our home unlivable. Due to my son being autistic, he has weekly therapist visits which I am currently paying out of pocket for due to his absent father cutting his insurance off, and it is causing me to come up short on rent. If anybody knows any agencies that offer rental assistance or are able to make any type of donations to help, it would be GREATLY appreciated as I cannot afford to lose my home. I’m currently working, but due to the out-of-pocket expenses and no help from his father, I am in a bind, unfortunately. Thank you for any assistance or advice! We really appreciate it.
