We need your prayers and support! Hi friend. My name is Gina Bruce and I am a close friend of Kamela and Chris Clackum. Recently Chris discovered a mass on the back of his right calf. After numerous doctor’s appointments, scans and a biopsy it was determined that Chris has a rare form of cancer called myxoid liposarcoma. Sarcomas account for 1% of adult cancers and myoxid liposarcomas account for only 15% of the 1% making them extremely rare. Chris was not a candidate for pre-operative radiation, so he is scheduled for surgery on November 13th at MUSC in Charleston, SC. It is at that time we will learn our next steps. As you can imagine the time between diagnosis and treatment has not been quick. With 2 young Children ,a college student living at home and taking care of Chris as he recovers is going to be difficult for 1 person to do alone. You can help our dear friends by providing a meal.
