Story
If you have been lucky and blessed enough to know Lee Muldoon- you know how special of a guy he is, how hardworking he is, how much he loves his family/friends with every part of his being, and how he is truly one of the most kind-hearted, incredibly funny, humble, positive, and optimistic people we know. I think each and every one of us would agree that we're all better for having him in our lives in any capacity, big or small. Although Lee has shared the news with most of his friends, family, and co-workers, it feels surreal typing this. Our very-loved husband, father, son, brother, cousin, co-worker, and friend is going through something no one should ever go through alone. One month ago, after several tests were done from symptoms he was having, Lee and his wife Bri were given the devastating news that Lee has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal Cancer. After several appointments, and numerous consults with physicians, Lee will begin his fight to kick cancers A$$ beginning March 3, 2025. It will be a tough road, but Bri and Lee are connected with a team of incredibly experienced doctors, surgeons, and a care team who are very hopeful that have given Lee's age and health, he’ll handle the chemo/radiation treatment better than most, and have a successful surgery for removal of the cancer. If you know Lee, then you know he is extremely passionate about his career as a crane operator with Barnhart. I am certain we can all attest to hearing the amazing stories about some of his jobs and how deeply committed he is in his position and more importantly his team. Unfortunately, Lee's job will become incredibly challenging, if not impossible, while undergoing the different chemo and radiation treatments over the next year. This will be not only a huge financial impact on his family, but a mentally emotional time for him while he adjusts to a new "routine" for a little while. While your well-wishes, good vibes, prayers, etc. for successful treatment and surgical outcome for Lee are more than enough — we are all committed to doing everything we can to help alleviate any distress Bri, Lee, and their children may experience during this difficult time. Bri and Lee are the ultimate TEAM! Between both of their jobs, they stay busy! Running to and from their children's school events/sporting events, supporting their children's dreams, and helping friends and family when in need etc. My goal is to help them in any way to help alleviate any added stress during this time. In speaking with Bri and Lee their biggest hope is to try and keep their home and everyday life for their three kids as close to "normal" as possible. Whether you are able to help provide a meal (cooked or bought/gift card), have Anniston over for a play date/overnight, provide a helping hand to Bri around the house (we all know she hates a dirty house, lol), help Lee with any outside work, be a listening ear for support to their family, or just by keeping Lee in your prayers as he fights and WINS this battle! We are asking for strength, healing, and comfort above ALL! This goal is set with the next few months in mind- but may be adjusted accordingly with any changes ahead. Thank you all for helping to support someone we all Love so much!
