Karen had NECK surgery. She cannot swallow very well, and her voice is a whisper because they had to move her vocal cords out of the way. They expect her recovery to be between 4 to 6 weeks. Then, she will go to physical therapy for at least 12 weeks. Presently, Karen can only eat certain foods, and I am on a weight-loss program. I recommend grocery stores only at this time because I can select what we can eat.
