Thank you to my VFW Aux family for starting this, it is greatly appreciated! My husband, Javier, had surgery on 10/8 - everything went well and we went home the same day. A few days later he started not feeling well and we went to the ER which resulted in another surgery on 10/13, which he is still in the hospital for, due to different abdominal complications unveiling themselves. I was able to stay with him in the hospital the whole time until this week, I had to return to work. We don’t have a discharge date for him as of yet, but even after he is released it will be a long recovery as his body will need time to heal. With Javi being self employed and not having employees, he will most likely lose some clients which will leave us relying mainly on one income for a while.
