Dear Family, I wanted to share an important update with you about our journey together. On November 20, Alicia will be having a myomectomy at Baylor Scott & White All Saints to address her fibroids. This surgery is a big, positive step forward for us as we pray and believe God for children in the near future. We’re both feeling hopeful, knowing this will help her and bring us closer to starting a family of our own, but we need to get through the surgery first. Alicia’s surgery is scheduled for November 20 at noon, and she’ll stay in the hospital overnight. She’ll be bedridden for six weeks, including through the Thanksgiving holiday, so please feel free to connect over FaceTime, as we know you’ll be spending time in your respective places. Your encouragement and prayers mean so much to us, and we’re thankful to have such a strong support system. To our sweet Auntie Mom (Aunt Tonya), we are not against some good Jollof Rice or maybe a cake 😉. We’re not expecting anyone to do anything, but if you’d like to help, it would be a big blessing.
