On Tuesday Feb 28th, I was in the most pain I have ever been in, Yes, that does top childbirth. Spending some time in the ER, I found out I had a 2 mm kidney stone in my left ureter. Painful yes but it’s a kidney stone right, it will pass. Wrong. I was very very wrong. I ended up having an emergency kidney stone removal Wednesday Jan 28th, simple and straight forward. Again wrong. I ended up having some very unlikely complications. The stent they placed to ensure my urine would still flow. Well that was displaced causing unbearable pain, as well has further complications. Friday Jan 31st, I had yet another kidney surgery called a “Nephrostomy Tube Surgery.” Meaning my left kidney urine is now being drained into an external bag. I am still in the hospital and on some incredible strong pain medication, leaving me still in a ton of pain. But this isn’t the end of all of these. I will end up having two more surgeries after these. I will be on bed rest for quite some time. That is for the obvious but we are also hoping to prevent a flare up from my NFD. I have idea what my college schedule will be like, or if I can even continue my courses these semester. This is gunna be a conversation I will be having these week with disabilities services, my doctors, and Christopher. These next few months are very unpredictable.
