Story
In December 2024, Noelle began experiencing severe lower abdominal pain and bleeding, which quickly escalated into unbearable pain. She was urgently admitted to the Edina Colorectal Surgery Center for immediate care. After a series of tests, we received the heartbreaking news: a tumor had been found, raising concerns of cancer. Noelle was then transferred to Mayo Clinic for further testing and biopsies. Sadly, the results confirmed that Noelle has Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer. This diagnosis has turned our world upside down, but we are holding on to hope and drawing strength from each other as we face this challenge together. We want to use this site to share updates, celebrate milestones, and reach out for help as we navigate her treatment journey. Noelle is a fierce and loving wife, mother, of 6, and friend, whose strength continues to amaze us. She has been fighting with all her might, and we are so grateful for the love and support she receives from each of you. Many of you have already reached out to see where you could help. This Give In Kind page should give you lots of ideas in a very coordinated way. Here you will find how you can help us with meals for the family, transportation to help Noelle get back and forth the Mayo for treatments every day, ways to send uplifting messages to Noelle in this challenging time, and other creative ways to just brighten Noelle's day and support the family. Your kind words, prayers, and donations are a lifeline for Noelle and our family as we face this journey together. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and generosity.
Special Notes
As you are thinking about supporting our family, many have asked about food restrictions. Well, as you all know, four hungry growing boys reside at our house. They really aren't very picky. We try to be as healthy as possible, and limit fast food, but also appreciate good comfort food. Gigi has a nut allergy so please indicate if anything is made with nuts. The boys are fine with nuts but we just want to know for Gigi's sake. Meals that can be frozen and reheated quickly are welcome as you know our schedules are crazy with all four boys in hockey and Gigi in dance.
