Our dear friend, Lee Borek, suffered a mild stroke on January 24 and was taken to the hospital. The same day, his mother took a fall while she was home with Lee’s sister and caregiver, Linda, and was taken to the same hospital. Lee’s condition is improving and he is expected to be released from the hospital on Sunday, January 29. He will need physical therapy and speech therapy. He will be staying with Linda and his mom during his recovery time. Linda will be responsible for caring for both Lee and Mom. As most of us don’t live close by to bring in meals, please consider sending a gift card from any food delivery service such as Uber Eats, GrubHub, DoorDash, etc, or from a favorite restaurant close by. Also, gift cards from Uber or Lyft to get Lee to and from therapy would be appreciated. I’ll keep you all updated on Lee’s recovery and hopefully he will be back to playing guitar soon!!
