Support for the LaTocha Family Meal Train

Anchorage, AK

Story

Support for the LaTocha Family/Meal Train is a way we can lend a helping hand to the LaTocha family after a snowmachine accident on December 15th that resulted in Junior losing his left leg. Junior's spirit is strong, and he's focused on healing and getting back to a new normal. Junior is the hardworking owner of Alaskan Electricians, a small independent electrical company serving the Anchorage and Eagle River communities. As the main provider for his family, including his two children, Junior has always given his all to support those around him. Like many small business owners in Alaska, affording health insurance has been a challenge, and unfortunately, Junior was uninsured at the time of the accident. The family is faced with large medical bills and Junior is not able to work his trade for a couple of months, meals will help the family financially and will help Rachael as she juggles additional responsibilities as Junior heals. Junior's determination and get it done attitude is shining bright. He will be slowed down for a couple months, but he's already specked out a prosthetic leg that will give him increased mobility and opportunity! Rachael will keep the calendar and other requests current. If you have any questions, please feel free to text Rachael or Junior. Thank you in advance for your willingness to give of your time and resources to rally around Junior and his family.

Special Notes

Freezable meals would also be very helpful and much appreciated. :)
