Story
Sophia was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma at the end of March 2024. While the diagnosis was a surprise, Sophia has remained 100% positive and focused on her recovery. Sophia had heart surgery shortly after being admitted to the hospital, this was a complication of the Cancer. The Surgery went well and she has gotten thumbs up from her doctors at this point. Sophia started Chemotherapy April 4th and will finish up her 1st round (of 6 rounds) on April 18th. The doctors have her on a 3 month Chemo and 3 month recovery plan, at this point she in on leave from her job and resources are limited. Sophia is incredibly strong and resilient, facing her diagnosis with remarkable positivity and determination. Sophia's journey may have its ups and downs, but with her positive attitude and the support of her loved ones, she's well-equipped to face whatever challenges come her way. Wishing her strength, courage, and a speedy recovery as she continues on her path towards wellness. Sophia is immunocompromised, on a strict diet and must be extremely cautious about her general health. Her doctors have made it very clear that any complications caused by getting sick could cause her to be hospitalized and make her ineligible for Chemo treatments. Sophia is currently living with relatives for care assistance and to reduce overall cost's of her recovery. When Sophia is on the other side of this, the plan is to help her get back on her feet by returning to work and finding her a place to live, this is where all of the financial assistance generated by this page will go.
